What a month June was! Fathers Day was a pretty special one this year. We actually got to spend it with one of the best dads/uncles in the galaxy! We even bought him a trophy to let him know just how awesome he really is. We did a little shopping and ate at Atlas Oyster House restaurant in downtown P-Cola. Pretty good food. They even had grits with Gouda cheese. Can we just say YUUMMMM!!!!

It was time for business after our fun filled weekend in Florida. Janelle FINALLY got a J-O-B! I am now a project administrator for Mechanical Construction Company (MCC for short)
It is my first 40 hr job and I really do like it. Waking up at 5:30 is already getting old, but hey it pays the bills. So I will suck it up. I work right on Canal St., which is pretty cool. Minus the fact that even after being at this job for almost a month I still get lost. These one way streets are NO JOKE! So anyway, MCC is one of the companies that are working on the biggest construction work sites in the United States! I mean this project is Massive!!!!! Another huge milestone in my life is that I am no longer a Westbank girl! For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, let me explain. Westbank sits right on the Mississippi River and is west of New Orleans. In order to get to Avondale (Westbank area) I would have to jump on I-10 West then cross the Huey P Bridge everyday. Let me just mention that if there is a traffic jam on the bridge, the only other way to get home is getting back on 10 East then hitting 90 West. I know you don't know the highways around New Orleans, just let me tell you it is a pain in the ass. It is an extra 30 minute drive, but that no longer applies to me. I AM A CITY GIRL! Pictures will be coming soon. I hope everyone is having a wonderful 4th of July weekend. Until next time....
