Once again I sit here complaining about how crazy life is. I mean when you work 7-4, come straight home, eat dinner, then go straight to bed, where does blogging fit in? That is a serious question. I am making my life seem boring, but its really not.
Last weekend some of my oldest and best friends came for a visit! None of them have ever been to New Orleans so they were in for a reeeaaaallll treat! These ladies just so happened to come on HANDS DOWN the best weekend in the south! The Red Dress Run was happening down in the French Quarter. This event is a 5k run/walk that raises money for over 100 local charities. Before that epic Saturday though we had to show them some pretty touristy spots. Jackson Square, River walk, French Market, Bourbon St., Jax Brewery, The Bulldog etc. Ash and I tried to be the best hosts possible!

Pat O'Briens was our next stop for some fun times! They really loved the outdoor area, which I didn't even know existed!
So here we are kind of "groggy" from a night of drinking and having way too much fun at Pat O'Briens. The festivities started at 10 but we thought noon fit our moods better at the time. To think of it, noon was pretty much everyone's time to head down to the quarter. We also had to start our day with a few mimosas. Yuuummmm....

Five red dressed girls in a sea of red dresses. All I could do was PRAY that none of us got separated from the group! Cut to Bourbon St. and the bipolar weather; hot, downpour, humid, sprinkling, perfect, I mean really weather could you please make up your mind! Let me just post a few pictures to just show you how Ahhh-mazing of a time we had! Annnnnndddd GOOO...

So here I am with just the twin, missing my girls like crazy. Reminiscing about last weekend and making sure my body recovers from excessive drinking. Ugh... On the bright side I have only a few weeks until I am up in the Mitten visiting as many family and friends as POSSIBLE! Until then blogesphere...
